Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director and performer is also an actress. She is an attractive, smart actress who is a source of inspiration for numerous Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Her fame was boosted by several popular characters in television series. The most notable was The Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. Her fame exploded into movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Then she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in box office failures like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated movies like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Screen roles of a smaller screen like Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia didn't yield any results. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring character helped Liu to regain her status as a performer. Liu is very careful in making her choices so that she does not become the victim of a hugely intensely competitive field. Though she's proud of her culture, she will not let that limit her creativity.
