Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She was the founder of The Huffington Post and the director of Thrive Global. Author of more than 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news outlet has a TV personality author, author and an philanthropist. Originating from Greece she was able to move to England at the age of 16 and was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. As the first non-English speaking student, she was elected president of The Cambridge Union' at the age of 21. She was a syndicated conservative writer following the graduation ceremony and, when The Huffington Post launched a couple of years later, she developed an online platform for voice that offered criticisms on the political landscape. The fame of Arianna led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna gained fame in 2003 when she decided to contest independently in the California recall vote to succeed the then governor Davis. Arianna was also part of an initiative in Detroit that promoted efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes listed her 12th in its top 10 list of Most Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their Top 100 list in 2010. In 2011, AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media unit, which comprised of many existing AOL products, such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter born to Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. While she enjoyed a strong connection to her mother and father but it was their connection that shaped her. In her earliest years she showed leadership abilities that remain highly respected. When she was 16, she moved from America to United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. In the years of her university, she belonged to Cambridge Union. Cambridge Union debating group where she became the first woman and the only president from outside the country. In 1972 she graduated with the degree of master's in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a columnist critic, and an anchor on TV. In addition, along with Bernard Levin she appeared on the show Face the music.
