Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, as is her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother work at play rehearsals.
